Micromosaics on Red Digest-Sized Notebook

The great artist, Patti Smith recently described every notebook as a possibility. So true! For so many creative people, there's nothing more wonderful than a sharp new pencil and a fresh notebook.

The digest size is the larger variation, a pleasingly useful size for a tote bag or briefcase, and the smaller pocket size is perfect for a blazer breast pocket or small handbag. Parvum Opus founder Erika Stefanutti is rarely without a notebook at hand, and she has attended to every aspect of these new designs with kindred spirits in mind.

For many years, Erika has made a habit of marking her own notebooks with the Latin phrase, vade mecum, or, go with me. On the inside front covers of these notebooks, you'll find this phrase, along with a space to write your name and the date. You'll also notice an image of a single antique Paoletti intaglio: this is is Ariadne, the Cretan princess who helped Theseus escape from the Minotaur's labyrinth. Erika thought she'd be an excellent friend to have along should you encounter a puzzle on your own writing or drawing journey.

With their flexible, matte covers and elegantly rounded corners, Parvum Opus notebooks are made to be light enough to toss into your bag, yet substantial and beautiful enough to sit on a well-dressed desk. They're filled with with fine writing paper pages in a heavy 116 gsm weight, with a lovely texture for working in either ink or pencil.
